1. 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하여 이르시되
The word of the LORD came to me:
2. 인자야 너는 두로를 위하여 슬픈 노래를 지으라
"Now you, son of man, raise a lamentation over Tyre,
3. 너는 두로를 향하여 이르기를 바다 어귀에 거주하면서 여러 섬 백성과 거래하는 자여 주 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 두로야 네가 말하기를 나는 온전히 아름답다 하였도다
and say to Tyre, who dwells at the entrances to the sea, merchant of the peoples to many coastlands, thus says the Lord GOD: "O Tyre, you have said, 'I am perfect in beauty.'
4. 네 땅이 바다 가운데에 있음이여 너를 지은자가 네 아름다움을 온전하게 하였도다
Your borders are in the heart of the seas: your builders are in the heart of the seas; your builders made perfect your beauty.
5. 스닐의 잣나무로 네 판자를 만들었음이여 너를 위하여 레바논의 백향목을 가져다 돛대를 만들었도다
They made all your planks of fir trees from Senir; they took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.
6. 바산의 상수리나무로 네 노를 만들었음이여 깃딤 섬 황양목에 상아로 꾸며 갑판을 만들었도다
Of oaks of Bashan they made your oars; they made your deck of pines from the coasts of Cyprus, inlaid with ivory.
7. 애굽의 수놓은 가는 베로 돛을 만들어 깃발을 삼았음이여 엘리사 섬의 청색 자색 베로 자일을 만들었도다
Of fine embroidered linen from Egypt was your sail, serving as your banner; blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah was your awning.
8. 시돈과 아르왓 주민들이 네 사공이 되었음이여 두로야 네 가운데에 있는 지혜자들이 네 선장이 되었도다
The inhabitants of Sidon and Arvad were your rowers; your skilled men, O Tyre, were in you; they were your pilots.
9. 그발의 노인들과 지혜자들이 네 가운데에서 배의 틈을 막는 자가 되었음이여 네 가운데에서 방패와 투구를 달아 네 영광을 나타냈도다
The elders of Gebal and her skilled men were in you, caulking your seams; all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in you to barter for your wares.
10. 바사와 룻과 붓이 네 군대 가운데에서 병정이 되었음이여 네 가운데에서 방패와 투구를 달아 네 영광을 나타냈도다
"Persia and Lud and Put were in your army as your men of war. They hung the shield and helmet in you; they gave you splendor.
11. 아르왓 사람과 네 군대는 네 사방 성 위에 있었고 용사들은 네 여러 망대에 있었음이여 네 사방 성 위에 방패를 달아 네 아름다움을 온전하게 하였도다
Men of Arvad and Helech were on your walls all around, and men of Gamad were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls all around: they made perfect your beauty.
12. 다시스는 각종 보화가 풍부하므로 너와 거래하였음이여 은과 철과 주석과 납을 네 물품과 바꾸어 갔도다
"Tarshish did business with you because of your great wealth of every kind; silver, iron, tin, and lead they exchanged for your wares.
13. 야완과 두발과 메섹은 네 상인이 되었음이여 사람과 놋그릇을 가지고 네 상품을 바꾸어 갔도다
Javan, Tubal, and Meshech traded with you; they exchanged human beings and vessels of bronze for your merchandise.
14. 도갈마 족속은 말과 군마와 노새를 네 물품과 바꾸었으며
From Beth-togarmah they exchanged horses, war horses, and mules for your wares.
15. 드단 사람은 네 상인이 되었음이여 여러 섬이 너와 거래하여 상아와 박달나무를 네 물품과 바꾸어 갔도다
The men of Dedan traded with you. Many coastlands were your own special markets; they brought you in payment ivory tusks and evony.
16. 너의 제품이 풍부하므로 아람은 너와 거래하였음이여 남보석과 자색 베와 수놓은 것과 가는 베와 산호와 홍보석을 네 물품과 바꾸어 갔도다
Syria did business with you because of your abundant goods; they exchanged for your wares emeralds, purple, embroidered work, fine linen, coral, and ruby.
17. 유다와 이스라엘 땅 사람이 네 상인이 되었음이여 민닛 밀과 과자와 꿀과 기름과 유향을 네 물품과 바꾸어 갔도다
Judah and the land of Israel traded with you; they exchanged for your merchandise wheat of Minnith, meal, honey, oil, and balm.
18. 너의 제품이 많고 각종 보화가 풍부하므로 다메섹이 너와 거래하였음이여 헬본 포도주와 흰 양털을 너와 거래하였도다
Damascus did business with you for your abundant goods, because of your great wealth of every kind; wine of Helbon and wool of Sahar
19. 워단과 야완은 길쌈하는 실로 네 물품을 거래하였음이여 가공한 쇠와 계피와 대나무 제품이 네 상품 중에 있었도다
and casks of wine from Uzal they exchanged for your wares; wrought iron, cassia, and calamus were bartered for your merchandise.
20. 드단은 네 상인이 되었음이여 말을 탈 때 까는 천을 너와 거래하였도다
Dedan traded with you in saddlecloths for riding.
21. 아라비아와 게달의 모든 고관은 네 손아래 상인이 되어 어린 양과 숫양과 염소들, 그것으로 너와 거래하였도다
Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your favored dealers in lambs, rams, and goats; in these they did business with you.
22. 스바와 라아마의 상인들도 너의 상인들이 됨이여 각종 극상품 향 재료와 각종 보석과 황금으로 네 물품을 바꾸어 갔도다
The traders of Sheba and Raamah traded with you; they exchanged for your wares the best of all kinds of spices and all precious stones and gold.
23. 하란과 간네와 에덴과 스바와 앗수르와 길맛의 장사꾼들도 너의 상인들이라
Haran, Canneh, Eden, traders of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad traded with you.
24. 이들이 아름다운 물품 곧 청색 옷과 수놓은 물품과 빛난 옷을 백향목 상자에 담고 노끈으로 묶어 자기고 너와 거래하여 네 물품을 바꾸어 갔도다
In your market these traded with you in choice garments, in clothes of blue and embroidered work, and in carpets of colored material, bound with cords and made secure.
25. 다시스의 배는 떼를 지어 네 화물을 나르니 네가 바다 중심에서 풍부하여 영화가 매우 크도다
The ships of Tarshish traveled for you with your merchandise. So you were filled and heavily laden in the heart of the seas.
26. 네 사공이 너를 인도하여 큰물에 이르게 함이여 동풍이 바다 한 가운데에서 너를 무찔렀도다
"Your rowres have brought you out into the high seas. The east wind has wrecked you in the heart of the seas.
27. 네 재물과 상품과 바꾼 물건과 네 사공과 선장과 네 배의 틈을 막는 자와 네 상인과 네 가운데에 있는 모든 용사와 네 가운데에 있는 모든 무리가 네가 패망하는 날에 다 바다 한가운데에 빠질 것임이여
Your riches, your wares, your merchandise, your mariners and you pilots, your caulkers, your dealers in merchandise, and all your men of war who are in you, with all your crew that is in your midst, sink into the heart of the seas on the day of your fall.
28. 네 선장이 부르짖는 소리에 물결이 흔들리리로다
At the sound of the cry of you pilots the countryside shakes,
29. 노를 잡은 모든 자와 사공과 바다의 선장들이 다 배에서 내려 언덕에 서서
and down from their ships come all who handle the oar. The mariners and all the pilots of the sea stand on the land
30. 너를 위하여 크게 소리 질러 통곡하고 티끌을 머리에 덮어쓰며 재 가운데에 뒹굴며
and shout aloud over you and cry out bitterly. They cast dust on their heads and wallow in ashes;
31. 그들이 다 너를 위하여 머리털을 밀고 굵은 베로 띠를 띠고 마음이 아프게 슬피 통곡하리로다
they make themselves bald for you and put sackcloth on their waist, and they weep over you in bitterness of soul, with bitter mourning.
32. 그들이 통곡할 때에 너를 위하여 슬픈 노래를 불러 애도하여 말하기를 두로와 같이 바다 가운데에서 적막한 자 누구인고
In their walling they raise a lamentation for you and lament over you: 'Who is like Tyre, like one destroyed in the midst of the sea?
33. 네 물품을 바다로 실어 낼 때에 네가 여러 백성을 풍족하게 하였음이여 네 재물과 무역품이 많으므로 세상 왕들을 풍부하게 하였었도다
When you wares came from the seas, you satisfied many peoples; with your abundant wealth and merchandise you enriched the kings of the earth.
34. 네가 바다 깊은 데에서 파선한 때에 네 무역품과 네 승객이 다 빠졌음이여
Now you are wrecked by the seas, in the depths of the waters; your merchandise and all your crew in your midst have sunk with you.
35. 섬의 주민들이 너로 말미암아 놀라고 왕들이 심히 두려워하여 얼굴에 근심이 가득하도다
All the inhabitants of the coastlands are appalled at you, and the hair of their kings bristles with horror; their faces are convulsed.
36. 많은 민족의 상인들이 다 너를 비웃음이여 네가 공포의 대상이 되고 네가 영원히 다시 있지 못하리라 하셨느니라
The merchants among the peoples hiss at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.' "
