1. 그가 나를 데리고 성전에 이르러 그 문 벽을 측량하니 이쪽 두께도 여섯 척이요 저쪽 두께도 여섯 척이라 두께가 그와 같으며
Then he brought me to the nave and measured the jambs. On each side six cubits was the breadth of the jambs.
2. 그 문 통로의 너비는 열 척이요 문 통로 이쪽 벽의 너비는 다섯 척이요 저쪽 벽의 너비는 다섯 척이며 그가 성소를 측량하니 그 길이는 마흔 척이요 그 너비는 스무 척이며
And the breadth of the entrance was ten cubits, and the sidewalls of the entrance were five cubits on either side. And he measured the length of the nave, forty cubits, and its breadth, twenty cubits.
3. 그가 안으로 들어가서 내전 문 통로의 벽을 측량하니 두께는 두 척이요 문 통로가 여섯 척이요 문 통로의 벽의 너비는 각기 일곱 척이며
Then he went into the inner room qne measured the jambs of the entrance, two cubits; and the entrance, six cubits; and the sidewalls on either side of the entrance, seven cubits.
4. 그가 내전을 측량하니 길이는 스무 척이요 너비는 느무 척이라 그가 내게 이르되 이는 지성소니라 하고
And he measured the length of the room, twenty cubits, and its breadth, twenty cubits, across the nave. And he said to me, "This is the Most Holy Place."
5. 성전의 벽을 측량하니 두께가 여섯 척이며 성전 삼면에 골방이 있는데 너비는 각기 네 척이며
Then he measured the wall of the temple, six cubits thick, and the breadth of the side chambers, four cubits, all around the temple.
6. 골방은 삼 층인데 골방 위에 골방이 있어 모두 서른이라 그 삼면 골방이 성전 벽 밖으로 그 벽에 붙어 있는데 성전 벽 속을 뜷지는 아니하였으며
And the side chambers were in three stories, one over another, thirty in each story. there were offsets all around the wall of the temple to serve as supports for the side chambers, so that they should not be supported by the wall of the temple.
7. 이 두루 있는 골방은 그 층이 높아질수록 넓으므로 성전에 둘린 이 골방이 높아질수록 성전에 가까워졌으나 성전의 넓이는 아래 위가 같으며 골방은 아래층에서 중층으로 위층에 올라가게 되었더라
And it became broader as it wound upward to the side chambers, because the temple was enclosed upward all around the temple. Thus the temple had a broad area upward, and so one went up from the lowest story to the top story through the middle story.
8. 내가 보니 성전 삼면의 지대 곧 모든 골방 밑 지대의 높이는 한 장대 곧 큰 자로 여섯 척인데
I saw also that the temple had a raised platform all around; the foundations of the side chambers measured a full reed of six long cubits.
9. 성전에 붙어 있는 그 골방 바깥 벽 두께는 다섯 척이요 그 외에 빈터가 남았으며
The thickness of the outer wall of the side chambers was five cubits. The free space between the side chambers of the them temple and the
10. 성전 골방 삼면에 너비가 스무 척 되는 뜰이 둘려 있으며
other chambers was a breadth of twenty cubits all around the temple on every side.
11. 그 골방 문은 다 빈터로 향하였는데 한 문은 북쪽으로 향하였고 한 문은 남쪽으로 향하였으며 그 둘려 있는 빈터의 너비는 다섯 척이더라
And the doors of the side chambers opened on the free space, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south. And the breadth of the free space was five cubits all around.
12. 서쪽 뜰 뒤에 건물이 있는데 너비는 일흔 척이요 길이는 아흔 척이며 그 사방 벽의 두께는 다섯 척이더라
The building that was facing the separate yard on the west side was seventy cubits broad, and the wall of the building was five cubits thick all around, and its length ninety cubits.
13. 그가 성전을 측량하니 길이는 백 척이요 또 서쪽 뜰과 그 건물과 그 벽을 합하여 길이는 백 척이요
Then he measured the temple, a hundred cubits long; and the yard and the building with its walls, a hundred cubits long;
14. 성전 앞면의 너비는 백 척이요 그 앞 동쪽을 향한 뜰의 너비도 그러하며
also the breadth of the east front of the temple and the yard, a hundred cubits.
15. 그가 뒤뜰 너머 있는 건물을 측량하니 그 좌우편 회랑까지 백 척이더라 내전과 외전과 그 뜰의 현관과
Then he measured the length of the building facing the yard that was at the back and its galleries on either side, a hundred cubits. the inside of the nave and the vestibules of the court,
16. 문 통로 벽과 닫힌 창과 삼면에 둘려 있는 회랑은 문 통로 안쪽에서부터 땅에서 창까지 널판자로 가렸고 ( 창은 이미 닫혔더라)
the threshshold, and the narrow windows and the galleries all around the three of them, opposite the threshold, were paneled with wood all around, from the floor up to the windows (now the windows were covered),
17. 문 통로 위와 내전과 외전의 사방 벽도 다 그러하니 곧 측량한 크기대로며
to the space above the door, even to the inner room, ane on the outside. And on all the walls all around, inside and outside, was a measured pattern.
18. 널판지에는 그룹들과 종려나물를 새겼는데 두 그룹 사이에 종려나무 한 그루가 있으며 각 그룹에 두 얼굴이 있으니
It was carved of cherubim and palm trees, a palm tree between cherub and cherub. Every cherub had two faces:
19. 하나는 사람의 얼굴이라 이쪽 종려나무를 향하였고 하나는 어린 사자의 얼굴이라 저쪽 종려나무를 향하였으며 온 성전 사방이 다 그러하여
a human face toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other all around.
20. 땅에서부터 문 통로 위에까지 그룹들과 종려나무들을 새겼으니 성전 벽이 다 그러하더라
From the floor to above the door, cherubim and palm trees were carved; similarly the wall of the nave.
21. 외전 문설주는 네모졌고 내전 전면에 있는 양식은 이러하니
The doorposts of the nave were sqared, and in front of the Holy Place was something resembling
22. 곧 나무 제단의 높이는 세 척이요 길이는 두 척이며 그 모퉁이와 옆과 면을 다 나무로 만들었더라 그가 내게 이르되 이는 여호와의 앞의 상이라 하더라
an altar of wood, three cubits high, two cubits long, and two cubits broad. Its corners, its base, and its walls were or wooe. He said to me, "This is the table that is before the LORD."
23. 내전과 외전에 각기 문이 있는데
The nave and the Holy Place had each a double door.
24. 문마다 각기 두 문짝 곧 접는 두 문짝이 있어 이 문에 두 짝이요 저 문에 두 짝이며
The double doors had two leaves apiece, two swinging leaves for each door.
25. 이 성전 문에 그룹과 종려 나무를 새겼는데 벽에 있는 것과 같고 현관 앞에는 나무 디딤판이 있으며
And on the doors of the nave were carved cherubim and palm trees, such as were carved on the walls. And there was a canopy of wood in front of the vestibule outside.
26. 현관 좌우편에는 닫힌 창도 있고 종려나무도 새겨져 있고 성전의 골방과 디딤판도 그러하더라
And there were narrow windows and palm trees on either side, on the sidewalls of the vestibule, the side chambers of the temple, and the canopies.
