1.Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
2.The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the Lord
and against his Anointed One.
3."Let us break their chains," they say,
"and throw off their fetters."
4.The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5.Then he rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6."I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill."
7.I will proclaim the decree of the Lord:
He said to me, "You are my Son;
today I have become your Father.
8.Ask of me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9.You will rule them with an iron scepter;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery."
10.Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11.Serve the Lord with fear
and rejoice with trembling.
12.Kiss the Son, lest he be angry
and you be destroyed in your way,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
1.어째서 나라들이 남몰래 나쁜 일을 꾸미며, 민족들이 왜 그토록 헛된 일들을 계회하고 있는 것일까?
2.세상 왕들이 여호와께 대항하여 싸울 준비를 하고,
세상의 통치자들이 여호와께서 세우신 왕과 싸우려고 모여드는구나.
3.그들은 "우리를 묶는 쇠사슬을 끊어 버리자.
우리를 동여 맨 밧줄을 던져 버리자"라고 말합니다.
4.그러나 하늘 보좌에 앉아 계신 분께서 웃으시며 그들을 향해 비웃으십니다.
5.주께서 분노하시면서 그들을 꾸짖고,
그딜이 두려워 벌벌 떠는 가운데 말씀하시기를
6."내가 나의 왕을 내 거룩한 산, 시온 산 위에 세웠다!"
라도 하십니다.
7.내가 이제 주님의 명령을 널리 선포합니다.
여호와께서 내게 말씀하시기를 "너는 내 아들이다.
오늘 내가 너의 아버지가 되었다.
8.나에게 구하여라.
그러면 내가 모든 나라들을 네게 유산으로 주겠다.
그리고 지구상의 모든 민족들이 다 네 소유가 될 것이다.
9.너는 철로 된 지팡이로 그들을 질그릇같이 부술 것이다"
라고 하셨습니다.
10.그러므로 세상 왕들아!
지혜롭게 행동하여라.
세상의 통치자들아! 조심하여라.
11.두려운 마음으로 여호와를 섬기고, 떨리는 마음으로 그분을 찬양하여라.
12.그의 아들을 정중하게 섬겨라.
그렇지 않으면 너희가 가는 길에서 망하게 된다.
왜냐하면 주님의 분노가 순식간에 불붙듯이 타오를 것이기 때문이다.
여호와를 의지하는 사람은 복을 받을 것이다.
