1.나의 힘이되신 여호와여!
내가 주님을 사랑합니다.
I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2.여호와는 나의 반석, 나의 요새, 나의 구원자이십니다.
나의 하나님은 피할 바위이십니다.
주님은 나의 방패, 구원하시는 뿔, 나의 산성이십니다.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.
he is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3.내가 찬양받기에 합당하신 여호와께 부르짖으니
그가 나를 수많은 원수들로부터 구하실 것을 확신합니다.
I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies.
4.죽음의 줄이 나를 묶고, 멸망의 물살이 나를 덮쳤습니다.
The cord of death entangled me;
the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
5.무덤의 줄이 나를 묶고, 죽음의 덫이 나를 덮었습니다.
The cord of the grave coiled around me;
the snares of death confronted me.
6.고통중에 내가 여호와를 불렀고, 나의 하나님께 도와달라고 부르짖었습니다.
저가 성전에서 내 목소리를 들으셨으며,
울부짖는 내 외침이 그의 귀에 들렸습니다.
In my distress I called to the Lord;
I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
my cry came back him, into his ears.
7.땅이 떨리고 뒤흔들리며,
산들의 뿌리가 흔들리기 시작했습니다.
이는 주님께서 노하셨기 때문입니다.
The earth trembled and quacked,
and the foundation of the mountains shook;
they trembled because he was angry.
8.코에서는 연기를 뿜어 내시고,
입으로는 타오르는 불길을 토해 내셨습니다.
불타는 숯불이 주님의 입으로부터 터져 나왔습니다.
Smoke rose from his nostrils;
consuming fire came from his mouth,
burning coals blazed out of it.
9.저가 하늘을 가르시고 내려오셔서
검은 구름을 발로 밟고 계셨습니다.
He parted the heavens and came down;
dark clouds were under his feet.
10.날개 달린 생물인 그룹을 타고 날아오셨습니다.
바람 날개를 타고 내려오셨습니다.
He mounted the cherubim and flew;
he soared on the wings of the wind.
11.어두움으로 몸을 덮으셔서 천막을 만드셨으며
어두운 비가 하늘을 덮었습니다.
He made darkness his coveringm his canopy around him-
the dark rain clouds of the sky.
12.그 앞에 빛난 밫으로부터 짙은 구름이 나왔으며
우박이 내리고 번개가 쳤습니다.
Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced,
with hailstones and bolts of lightning.
13.여호와께서 하늘로부터 천둥 소리를 내셨습니다.
가장 높으신 하나님의 목소리가 울리기 시작했습니다.
The Lord thundered from heaven;
the voice of the Most High resounded.
14.주님께서 활을 쏘시어 원수들을 흩어 쫓으셨습니다.
번개를 내리치시니 원수들이 놀라서 도망갔습니다.
He shot his arrows and scattered the enemies,
great bolts of lightning and routed them.
15.여호와께서 꾸짖으시고 콧김을 세차게 불자
바닷속 골짜기들이 드러나고 땅의 밑바닥이 훤희 드러나 보였습니다.
The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare
at your rebuke, O Lord,
at the blast of breath from your nostrils.
16.주님께서 높은 곳에서 손을 뻗으시어 나를 잡으시고,
깊은 물 속에서 건져 내셨습니다.
He reached down from on high and took hold of me;
he drew me out of deep waters.
17.주님께서 힘센 원수들로부터 나를 구해 주셨습니다.
내가 감당하게에 그들은 너무나 힘센 자들이었습니다.
He rescued me from my powerful enemy,
from my foes, who were too strong for me.
18.내가 재난 가운데 있을 때,
그들이 내게 달려들었지만
여호와는 나를 붙잡아 주셨습니다.
They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
but the Lord was my support.
19.여호와께서 나를
안전한 곳으로 데리고 가시고,
나를 기뻐하심으로 구원해 주셨습니다.
He brought me out into a spacious place;
he rescued me because he delighted in me.
20.내가 옳은 일을 하므로 여호와께서 내게 상을 내리셨으며,
깨끗하게 살았다고 여호와께서 내세 복을 주셨습니다.
The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness;
according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.
21.나는 여호와의 길을 따랐습니다.
나의 하나님을 떠나 나쁜짓을 하지 않았습니다.
For I have kept the ways of the Lord;
I have not done evil by turning from my God.
22.나는 항상 주님의 법을 앞에 두고 살았고,
그분의 법을 저버린 적이 없습니다.
All his laws are before me;
I have not turned away from his decrees.
23.나는 하나님 앞에서 나무랄데 없이 살았고,
죄에 빠지지 않도록 조심하였습니다.
I have been blameless before him
and I have kept myself from sin.
24.내가 옳은 일을 하니
여호와께서 내게 상을 내리셨으며,
깨끗하게 살았다고
여호와께서 내게 복을 주셨습니다.
The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
according to the cleaness of my hands in his sight.
25.신실한 사람들에게는 주의 신실하심을 보여주시고,
흠 없는 사람들에게는 주의 흠 없음을 보여주십니다
To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
to the blameless you show yourself blameless,
26.마음이 깨끗한 사람들에게는
주의 깨끗하심을 보여주십니다.
그러나 주님은 못된사람들에게는
못되게 갚아주시는 분이십니다.
to the pure you show yourself pure,
but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd.
27.주는 겸손한 사람들을 구원하시지만,
거만한 눈을 가진 사람들은 초라하게 만드십니다.
You save the humble
but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.
28.여호와께서 내 등잔에 불을 붙여주셨습니다.
나의 하나님께서 나를 둘러싼 어두움을 빛으로 바꾸셨습니다.
You, O Lord, keep, lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light.
29.주님의 도우심으로 나는 군대와 같은 원수들을 칠 수 있습니다.
나의 하나님과 함께 나는 어떤 담이라도 뛰어넘을 수 있습니다.
With your help I can advance against a troop;
with my God I can scale a wall.
30.하나님의 길은 완전합니다.
여호와의 말씀은 티가 없습니다.
저가 자기에게 피하는 모든 자들에게 방패가 되십니다.
As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is flawless.
He is a shield
for all who take refuge in him.
31.여호와 외에 누가 하나님이란 말입니까?
우리 하나님 외에 든든한 바위와 같은 자가 누구란 말입니까?
For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
32.나에게 힘을 주시고,
나의 가는 길을 완전케 하시는 분은 하나님이십니다.
It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.
33.주님은 나의 발을 암사슴 발같이 하여,
가파른 산등성 위에 굳게 서도록 하십니다.
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
he enables me to stand on the heights.
34.내가 싸우도록 주님은 내 손에 힘을 길러 주셔서
내 팔은 놋활도 당길수 있습니다.
He trains my hands for battle;
my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35.주님께서 승리의 방패를 내게 들려 주셨고,
주님의 오른손이 나를 받쳐 주십니다.
주의 온유함이 나를 크게 하셨습니다.
You gave me your shield of victory,
and your right hand sustains me;
you stoop down to make me great.
36.주님께서 나의가는 길을 넓히시어
내 발이 미끄러지지 않게 하십니다.
You broaden the path beneath me,
so that my ankles do not turn.
37.내가 내 원수들을 쫓아가 잡았으며
원수들이 패하여 망하기 전까지는 물러서지 않았습니다.
I pursued my enemies and overtook them;
I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
38.원수들이 다시 일어나지 못하도록 때려눕히니
그들이 내 발밑에 쓰러졌습니다.
I crushed them so that they could not rise;
they fell beneath my feet.
39.주님은 싸움터에서 내게 힘을 주셨습니다.
원수들을 내 앞에 엎드리게 하셨습니다.
You armed me with strength for battle;
you made my adversaries bow at my feet.
40.주님 앞에서 원수들이 도망쳤습니다.
나는 내 원수들을 남김없이 물리쳤습니다.
You made my enemies turn their backs in flight,
and I destroyed my foes.
41.원수들이 도와달라고 소리쳤지만,
아무도 그들을 도우러 오지 않았습니다.
여호와께 부르짖었지만, 들은 체도 하지 않으셨습니다.
They cried for help, but there was no one to save them-
to the Lord, but he did not answer.
42.내가 원수들을 바람에 나는 먼지처럼 부수어 날려 보내고,
길바닥의 진흙처럼 쏟아 버렸습니다.
I beat them as fine as dust borne on the wind;
I poured them out like mud in the streets.
43.주님은 백성들이 나를 공격할 때 나를 건져 주셨고,
뭇 나라들의 으뜸으로 삼으셨습니다.
내가 알지도 못하는 민족 마저도 나를 섬기게 되었습니다.
You have delivered me from the attacks of the people;
you have made me the head of nations;
people I did not know are suject to me;
44.내 소문을 듣고는 그들이 당장 내게 엎드립니다.
다른나라 사람들이 내게 무릎을 끓습니다.
As soon as they hear me, they obey me;
foreigners cringe before me.
45.모두가 두려워하여 벌벌 떨면서 그들의 요새로부터 기어 나옵니다.
They all lose heart;
they come trembling from their strongholds.
46.여호와께 영광을 돌립니다.
나의 바위에게 찬양을 드립니다.
나의 구원자 하나님을 높이 찬송합니다!
The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted be God my Savior!
47.그분은 나의 원한을 갚아 주시는 하나님이시며,
사람들을 내 발 앞에 엎드리게 하는 분이시며,
He is the God who avenges me,
who subdues nations under me,
48.나를 원수들에게서 구하시는 분이십니다.
주는 내 원수들위에 나를 높이시고,
사나운 사람들에게서 나를 건지셨습니다.
who saves me from my enemies.
You exalted me above my foes;
from violent men you rescued me.
49.그러므로 주님, 내가 뭇 나라 가운데서 주께 감사하며,
주님을 찬양할 것입니다.
오 주님이시여,
내가 주님의 이름을 높이며 노래할 것입니다.
Therefore I will praise you among the nations,
O Lord,
I will sing praises to your name.
50.여호와께서는 자기 왕에게 위대한 승리를 안겨주십니다.
주께서 기름 부어 주신 다윗과, 그 자손들에게
자비와 은총을 언제까지나 베풀어 주십니다.
He gives his king great victories;
he shows unfailing kindness to his anointed,
to David and his descendants forever.
