1.우리의 힘이신 하나님께 기쁜 마음으로 노래하십시오. 야곱의 하나님께 큰 목소리로 외치십시오.
2.소고를 치고 수금을 타며 비파에 맞춰 음악을 연주하십시오.
3.초승달이 뜰 때에, 보름달이 뜰 때에, 우리들의 축제일에 숫양의 뿔로 나팔을 부십시오.
4.이것은 이스라엘이 지켜야할 법이며 야곱 자손의 하나님께서 정하신 규례입니다.
5.우리가 알아듣지 못하는 언어를 사용하던 이집트를 하나님께서 치실 때에 하나님께서 이 법을 요셉의 자손들에게 주신 것입니다.
6.하나님께서 말씀하십니다. "내가 너희 어깨에서 짐을 벗기고, 너희 힘든 일손을 쉬게 하였다.
7.너희가 괴로울때에 내게 부르짖으므로 내가 너희를 구원하였다. 내가 천둥 소리 가운데서 너희에게 응답했고, 므리바 물가에서 너희를 시험하였다.
8.내 백성들아, 들어라. 이스라엘아, 내 말에 귀를 기울여라. 내가 너희에게 경고한다.
9.너희 가운데에 다른 신들을 두어서는 안된다. 어떤 다른 신에게 절해서도 안 된다.
10.나는 너희를 이집트에서 인도해 낸 여호와 저희의 하나님이다. 네 입을 크게 벌려라. 그러면 내가 채울 것이다.
11.그러나 내 백성은 내 말에 귀 기울이지 않았으며, 이스라엘은 내게 복종하지 않았다.
12.그래서 내가 그들을 그들의 고집대로 내버려 두었더니 자기들 마음대로 행하고 있구나.
13.내 백성들아, 내 말에 귀를 기울여 보아라. 이스라엘 자손들아, 내 뜻에 따라 살아보아라.
14.그러면 내가 너희 원수들을 쳐부수고, 내 손으로 너희 적들을 칠 것이다.
15.여호와를 미워하는 자들이 모두 그 앞에서 고개를 숙일 것이다. 그들은 영원히 형벌을 받게 될것이다.
16.그러나 너희는 내가 가장 좋은 밀가루로 먹일 것이고 바위에서 딴 꿀로 배부르게 할 것이다.
1.Sing for joy to God our strength;
shout aloud to the God of Jacob!
2.Begin the music , strike the tambourine,
play the melodious harp and lyre.
3.Sound the ram's horn at the New Moon,
and when the moon is full,on the day of our Feast;
4.this is a decree for Israel,
and ordinance of the God of Jacob.
5.He established it as a statute for Joseph
when he went out against Egypt,
where he heard a language we did not understand.
6.He says, "I removed the burden from their shoulders;
their hands were set free from the basket.
7.In their distress you called and I rescued you,
I answered you out of a thundercloud;
I tested you at the waters of Meribah.
8."Hear, O my people, and I will warn you-
if you would but listen to me, O Israel!
9.You shall have no foreign god among you;
you shall not bow down to an alien god.
10.I am the Lord your God,
who brought you out of Egypt.
Open wide your mouth and I will fill it.
11."But my people would not listen to me.
Israel would not submit to me.
12.So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts
to follow thier own devices.
13."If my people would but listen to me,
if Israel would follow my ways,
14.how quickly would I subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes!
15.Those who hate the Lord would cringe before him,
and their punishment would last forever.
16.But you would be fed with the finest of wheat;
with honey from th rock I would satisfy you."
