1.오 하나님, 더 이상 침묵하지 마소서. 오 하나님, 더이상 잠잠히 있거나 가만히 있지 마소서.
2.보십시오. 주의 원수들이 소리 높여 떠들고, 주의 적들이 머리를 치켜들고 있습니다.
3.그들이 주의 백성들을 죽이려고 계획하고 있습니다. 주께서 사랑하시는 사람들을 해치려고 음모를 꾸미고 있습니다.
4.그들은 이렇게 말합니다. "자, 저 나라를 완전히 쳐부수자. 이스라엘이란 이름마저 기억하지 못하도록 만들자."
5.그들이 마음을 합하여 음모를 꾸미고, 주를 해치려고 서로 손을 잡았습니다.
6.그들은 에돔 사람들과 이스마엘 사람들이며, 모압 사람들과 하갈 사람들 입니다.
7.그발 사람들과 암몬 사람들과 아말렉 사람들, 그리고 블레셋 사람들과 두로 사람들이 그들입니다.
8.심지어 앗시리아 사람들도 합세하여 롯의 후손을 도왔습니다.
9.주께서 미디안 사람들에게 하신 것같이 그들을 치십시오. 기손 강가에서 시스라와 야빈에게 하신것 같이 그들을 멸하십시오.
10.그들은 엔돌에서 전멸하였고 그들의 시체는 그 땅의 거름이 되었습니다.
11.오렙과 스엡에게 하신 것같이 그들의 장군들에게 해 주시고 세바와 살문나에게 하신 것같이 그들의 왕자들에게 해 주소서.
12.그들은 이렇게 건방지게 말하던 자들이었습니다. "하나님의 목장들을 빼앗아 우리의 것으로 만들자."
13.오 나의 하나님, 그들을 바람에 날아가는 잡초 같게 하시고 지푸라기 같게 하소서.
14.숲을 사르는 무서운 불길같이 산 위로 번져 가는 불길같이 산 위로 번져 사는 불꽃같이
15.주의 폭풍으로 그들을 쫓아내시고, 주의 돌풍으로 그들을 두렵게 하소서.
16.여호와여, 그들이 심히 수치를 당하게 하소서. 그러면 그들이 주의 이름을 부를 것 입니다.
17.그들이 겁에 질려 두려워하게 하소서. 수모를 당하고 멸망하게 하소서.
18.주의 이름이 여호와이신 줄을 그들이 알게 하여 주시고, 주만이 온 세상에서 가장 높으신 분임을 알게 하소서.

2.See how your enemies are astir,
how your foes rear their heads.
3.With cunning they conspire against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.
4."Come," they say, "let us destroy them as a nation,
that the name of Israel be remembered no more."
5.With one mind they plot together;
they form an alliance against you-
6.the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab and the Hagrites,
7.Gebal, Ammon and Amalek,
Philistiam, with the people of Tyre.
8.Even Assyria has joined them
the lend strength to the descendants of Lot.
9.Do to them as you did to Midian,
as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishorn,
10.who perished at Endor
and became like refuse on the ground.
11.Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,
all their princes like Zeban and Zalmunna,
12.who said, "Let us take possession
of the pasturelands of God."
13.Make them lile Tumblweed, O my God,
like chaff before the wind.
14.As fire consumes the forest
or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
15.so pursue them with your tempest
and terrify with with your storm.
16.Cover their faces with shame
so that men will seek your name, O Lord.
17.May they ever be ashamed and dismayed;
may they perish in disgrace.
18.Let them know that you, whose name is the Lord-
that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.
