1.오 하나님, 이방 나라들이 주의 기업에 침입하여 주의 성전을 더럽히고 예루살렘을 페허로 만들었습니다.
2.그들이 주의 종들의 시체를 공중의 새들에게 밥으로 던지고 주의 거룩한 무리들의 시체를 들짐승에게 주었습니다.
3.그들은 온 예루살렘 주위를 피로 물들였습니다. 그러나 죽은 자를 묻어 줄 사람이 하나도 없었습니다.
4.우리는 이웃에게 농담거리가 되고 주위 사람들에게 조롱과 비방거리가 되었습니다.
5.여호와여 언제까지입니까? 주는 영원히 화를 품지 않으실 것입니까? 언제까지 주의 질투가 불붙듯 할 것입니까?
6.주를 인정하지 않는 나라들 위에 주의 분노를 쏟아 부으소서. 주의 이름을 부르지 않는 나라들위에 주의 분노를 쏟아 부으소서.
7.그들이 야곱의 자손을 삼켰으며 야곱의 조국을 멸망시켰습니다.
8.우리 조상들의 죄 때문에 우리에게 책임을 뭍지 마소서. 우리에게 속히 주의 자비를 보여주소서. 우리가 절망 가운데에 있습니다.
9.우리 구원자 하나님이시여 주의 영광스런 명예를 위해서 우리를 도와주소서.
주의 이름을 위해서 우리를 구원하시고 우리 죄를 용서하여 주소서.
10."너희 하나님이 어디 있느냐? 라고 이방 민족들이 빈정거리며 말합니다.
우리 눈 앞에서 주의 종들이 흘린 피를 꼭 갚아 주소서. 주는 보복하시는 분이라는 것을 모든 나라들이 알게 하소서.
11.감옥에 갇힌 자들의 신음 소리를 들어 주시고 죽음에 처한 자들을 주의 능력의 팔로 구해 주소서.
12.주여, 주를 모욕한 우리의 이웃들에게 일곱 배로 갚아 주소서.
13.우리는 주의 백성이며 주께서 기르시는 양 떼들입니다. 우리가 영원히 주께 감사하겠습니다. 영원히 우리가 주의 영광을 찬양하겠습니다.
1.O God, the nations have invaded your inheritance;
they have defiled your holy temple,
they have reduced Jerusalem to rubble.
2.They have given the dead bodies of your servants as food to the birds of the air,
the flesh of your saints to the beasts of the earth.
3.They have poured out like water all around Jerusalem,
and there is no one to bury the dead.
4.We are objects of reproach to your neighbors,
of scorn and derision to those around us.
5.How long, O Lord? will you be angry forever?
How long will your jealousy burn like fire?
6.Pour out your wrath on the nations
that do not call on your name;
7.for they have devoured Jacob
and destroyed his homeland.
8.Do not hold against us the sins of the fathers;
may your mercy come quickly to meet us,
for we are in desperate need.
9.Help us, O God our Savior,
for the gloy of your name;
deliver us and forgive our sins for your name's sake.
10.Why should the nations say,
"Where is their God?"
Before our eyes, make known among the nations
that you avenge the outpoured blood of your servants.
11.May the groans of the prisoners come before you;
by the strength of your arm
preserve those condemned to die.
12.Pay back into the laps of our neighbors seven times
the reproach they have hurled at you, O Lord.
13.Then we your people, the sheep of your pasture,
will praise you forever;
from th generation to generation
we will recount your praise.
